Elysian closes its third fund at £325 million hard cap in six months

Elysian Capital is delighted to announce the final close of its third fund, exceeding its target and reaching the hard cap of £325 million, within six months of the official launch.

The Elysian Capital team are very grateful for the strong support and commitment from both existing and new high-quality investors from Europe, the Middle East and the United States, in what are particularly uncertain times.

The final close caps off a busy period for the Elysian Capital team, having completed two exits at 4.3x and 4.5x capital, three new platform investments, the steering of existing portfolio investments through these unprecedented times and developing an attractive pipeline of new investment opportunities.

The fund will leverage the Elysian Capital investment team's expertise in acquiring, nurturing, building and growing companies in the UK and Ireland lower mid-market. Many of the fund's investors also have a strong interest to co-invest alongside Elysian, greatly expanding the fund's firepower for new opportunities.

Investors and management teams continue to be attracted by Elysian Capital's ability to create significant value by combining its entrepreneurial and operating management skills with its seasoned, flexible, private equity approach to transform companies into more profitable and successful businesses. The Elysian team also continue to back their own judgement, investing £26m personally in Fund III, which at 8%, represents one of the largest team commitments in the market.
