Axis Well Technology Opens London Office and Expands Aberdeen Headquaters
Axis Well Technology continues its expansion with the opening of a London office in the prestigious Chiswick Park and also adding a further 30% office accommodation at its head office in Aberdeen.
Axis Well Technology chief executive Jim Anderson said “Opening a London office marks another important milestone in delivering our growth programme, following the recent investment in Axis by Elysian Capital back in May. A number of our key clients have their head office in the South East and this new office will enable us to both enhance the service to those clients and also access further business development opportunities.
Our headcount is currently 150 and opening our London office and the expansion of our Aberdeen office paves the way for significantly increasing our skilled technical resources and a recruitment programme is underway.” The Company has12 staff signed up to join over the next 2 months and a further 12 are expected to be hired by the year end.
“We are also delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Dranfield as Chairman of the Axis Board. Peter brings with him a wealth of international experience having spent 19 years in senior roles at BG International. Peter’s considerable knowledge will add value and support for continued growth over the coming years”. The recent promotions of Paul Handsley and Alastair Dodds to Director level also further strengthens the senior management team.
Demand for Axis’ independent integrated services remains strong; recent awards include three contracts for Well Operations Engineering, Production Technology support and Well Services / Well Test supervision with a UK based international operator worth in excess of £7M over the next three years.
Internationally, Axis continues to win contracts with major Operators and NOC’s which add several million pounds to the order book.
